The society consists of both coarse & trout sections. The larger coarse section has extensive waters throughout Kent.

The Trout section was formed in 1954 and has two Kent waters at Lullingstone Castle in Eynsford, & at Yorks Hill Farm in Ide Hill. The season runs from March through to the end of November.

Lullingstone Castle Lake is about 14 acres & is the habitat of many species of fly-life, such as Damsels, Pond Olives, Sedge, buzzer & Mayfly. Although it is possible to fish from the bank most of the fishing is from boat of which the Society has a number for use by the members. The lake is stocked on a regular basis with Rainbow trout of around one & a quarter pounds but with occasional larger fish. The Society operates a limited catch and release policy and as such there is a limit on the number of fish that can be caught and taken but there is no limit on the number of days a members may fish.
